the race track to a new career.
We are self funded. We believe in “own responsibility”. We look to the owners
, breeders and trainers to ensure their horses retire humanely.
As you know the Thoroughbred Race
Horse is very intimidating to the general public. Even at times to the experienced horse owner. Unless they are accustom to
dealing with the different behavior traits associated with horses coming off the race track. Most are not.
There are however many knowledgeable
caring people that would consider an ex-racehorse once it has gone through a re-schooling process. The process that includes
time allowed for let down, rest, evaluation and then onto the training program. We have found that when this occurs, the chances
of the retired race horse triple in finding lasting homes.
The care and re-schooling fee that is charged for each horse is very reasonable. The low cost does not reflect the quality,
soundness and ability of the horses we offer. Quite the opposite. It does however help the ex- racehorse find another responsible
and caring owner.
